Moe Tatts

Portrait shot of Marissa Slater.

Behind Moe Tatts

Hi (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) ! My name is Marissa. I first started my tattoo journey around the start of 2020, mid-COVID-era, in the basement of my mom’s house with no expectations of this being my current career. I eventually visited the Philippines and met my first tattoo mentor, Mike Sebastian in Paranque, PH, who taught me the fundamentals of tattooing. Following this, I joined Ink & Needle in 2023-2024, having my first experience at professionally tattooing. Now, I am tattooing in my own private-suite licensed body art facility, “Moe Tatts Studio,” which was started in the beginning of 2025! ♡ Thank you for visiting my portfolio/booking site; I look forward to meeting you and making your ideas come to life on your body!

Specialties

Fine Line

Fine-line tattoos are perfect for those who appreciate minimalist and elegant designs. I use incredibly thin lines to create intricate details, making them ideal for delicate artwork like small portraits or geometric patterns.

Black & Grey

Black & grey tattoos are a timeless and versatile style that focuses on shading and depth. I use various shades of black and grey to create realistic portraits, intricate patterns, and dramatic landscapes.

Illustrative

Illustrative tattoos are a more artistic approach that combines elements of traditional illustration and fine art. I use bold lines, vibrant colors, and detailed shading to create pieces that resemble illustrations or paintings.

Realism

Realism tattoos are a highly detailed style that aims to replicate the appearance of real life. I use precise shading, texture, and color to create lifelike images of people, animals, or objects.
